ARCHITECTURE
FOR THIS PROJECT, I EXPERIMENTED WITH SHADING AND LIGHTING USING A REFERENCE PHOTO OF AN ARCHITECTURE photo I found through the Pinterest app.
FOR THIS PIECE, I STARTED WITH A ROUGH AND SIMPLE SKETCH OF EVERY ANGLE AND STARTING ADDING MORE SHADING OVER TIME. through this project, I acquired a more deep knowledge about proportions and the importance of applying both shading and highlights in the correct places.
FOR THESE TWO PIECES, I EXPERIMENTED WITH ACRYLIC AND WATERCOLOR BRUSHES. These projects were made entirely in adobe photoshop.
hand study
in this study, the focus was on the hands. I used a reference photo from Pinterest. I sketch the pose and then completed it with a little bit of shading.
face study
For this project, I created a digital illustration focusing on a face study of puertorican singer bad bunny.
CHARACTER DESIGN
For my final piece, I wanted to create a character design for a video game/tv show. this illustration was made in adobe photoshop using various brushes from the paintbox pack. I designed two witches, both showcasing bright colors like pink and yellow.
